Samaritan is set to host its 2026 “Drive “FORE! A Good Cause,” the not-for-profit’s annual golf tournament presented by The Richardson Family Dealerships, on Monday, September 28, 2026, at Little Mill Country Club in Marlton. All proceeds from the event will support Samaritan’s comprehensive family of services, which benefit seriously ill patients and their families, as well as those grieving a loss.
“Each year, this tournament reminds us of the incredible generosity of our South Jersey community,” says Phillip W. Heath, president and CEO of Samaritan. “Every golfer, sponsor and volunteer plays an important role in helping Samaritan provide compassionate care and support to patients and families when they need it most. We are especially grateful to our dedicated golf committee co-chairs, Cliff Mancine and Roy Fazio, and all the members of our golf committee who help make this event such a success year after year.”
The day will feature an 18-hole, scramble-format tournament, beginning with registration at 10:00 a.m., followed by an 11:15 a.m. shotgun start. The event concludes with a reception and awards dinner beginning at approximately 4:30 p.m.

About Samaritan:
Samaritan is a not-for-profit, independent organization locally founded in Moorestown, New Jersey in 1980 as one of the first hospices in the country. Samaritan is now one of the State’s leading providers of palliative medicine, hospice care, social connections, grief support, advanced illness care, education and advocacy. Samaritan serves patients and families in Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Mercer counties who are coping with the stresses of aging, serious illness or grief wherever they call home. Samaritan also has two dedicated inpatient hospice centers in Voorhees and Mount Holly. Beyond the services covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans, Samaritan annually provides nearly $1M in donor-funded non-reimbursed care for patients and families in the South Jersey region. A thrift shop in Westmont also supports Samaritan services and programs. Samaritan is accredited by The Joint Commission; a member of the National Partnership for Hospice Innovation; and is a four-star hospice in the national We Honor Veterans program.
