Deborah Heart and Lung Center Cardiologist Honored by the Journal of the American College of Cardiology: Cardiovascular Imaging
Deborah Heart and Lung Center is proud to announce that cardiologist Renee Bullock-Palmer, M.D., has been named as one of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC): Cardiovascular Imaging’s top 20 reviewers for 2025.
Each year, JACC selects its top reviewers based on their exceptional contributions in peer review. Their thoughtful critiques, scientific discernment and dedication to scholarly excellence serve to strengthen the global cardiovascular community. JACC shares the latest research and advances in preventing and treating cardiovascular disease with doctors around the globe.
Dr. Bullock-Palmer takes her role as a peer reviewer seriously. "I’m so proud to be part of the vetting process for JACC: Cardiovascular Imaging, which is an excellent journal,” she said. “JACC helps push cardiology forward, and I am happy to be part of something that helps advance the field.”
In addition to her work as a reviewer, Dr. Bullock-Palmer has authored numerous articles that have been published in peer-reviewed medical journals, and she has participated in a number of clinical research projects.
Dr. Bullock-Palmer is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology, adult congenital heart disease, cardiovascular computed tomography (CT) and adult echocardiography. Her special interests include women’s heart disease, cardiac amyloidosis and cardiac imaging.
JACC’s Top Reviewers will be recognized at the American College of Cardiology’s Annual Scientific Session, March 28-30, 2026, in New Orleans. The event brings together cardiologists and cardiovascular specialists from around the world to share the newest discoveries in treatment and prevention.
