Thomas Edison State University
Are you trying to balance personal and career obligations while advancing your education? Look no further, we’ve helped scores of alumni do just that.
Thomas Edison State University has proudly served nontraditional students since 1972 and has kept this population at the heart of its mission. We know that busy adults, working nurses and military veterans transitioning to civilian life can’t put their lives on hold to earn their degrees; with our flexible academic model, they don’t have to.
The University offers undergraduate and graduate degree and certificate programs in more than 100 areas of study, from associate to doctoral level. We’ve also partnered with employers across multiple business sectors to provide degree completion and graduate education options that maximize their employees’ professional training, certifications and licenses and advance their careers.
The University takes pride in serving those who have served our country. This evolving support structure includes our Operation Vet Success virtual resource center and staff dedicated to helping active and veteran military members optimize their GI benefits, leverage their military training for academic credit and transition to the civilian workforce.
With new undergraduate terms beginning every month and nursing courses and graduate terms beginning four times a year, the University is always in session. Our generous transfer policy allows bachelor’s degree candidates to transfer up to 80 credits from a junior, county or community college. Our flexible methods of earning credit include online and Guided Study courses and accelerated program formats as well as prior learning assessment (PLA) options that comprise credit-by-exam and portfolio assessments that allow students to demonstrate that what they already know is equivalent to a comparable college course.
Prospective students can calculate the cost of earning their degree, investigate available scholarships, test drive an online course and determine if they’re a candidate for PLA – all before they apply.
More than 16,000 students and 50,000 alumni from all 50 U.S. states and 60 countries have chosen Thomas Edison State University to transform their lives and complete their degrees from wherever they live or work. Visit www.tesu.edu, call (609) 777-5680 or e-mail email@example.com to learn more.
